No annual fee, easy redemptions, enticing sign-up bonus, gas rewards, and grocery rewards what more could you ask for? The American Express Blue Cash Everyday Card is a winner.

The biggest perk: 3% cashback at U.S supermarkets up to $6,000 so an easy $180 if you max this out! Also, 2% back on all gas stations

Italo’s rating: 4.5/5

Who this is for: With no annual fee, this is a great card for people who are looking for a solid cash back card to hold for the long run and make their credit history rock solid. Also, if travel isn’t a priority in your life at the moment this card has great cashback on your grocery and gas spend.

It’s also a great fit if you have some big purchases coming up you’d prefer not to pay off immediately this card comes with a 0% intro APR for 15 months.

Annual fee: $0

Regular APR: 14.49% — 25.49% APR

Intro APR: 0% on purchases and balance transfers within 15 months

Recommended Credit Score To Apply: Good — Excellent

The play with this card:

Open it spend the $1,000 within 90 days for a free $150-$200 (I’ve seen introductory bonus vary between these two numbers) this could be a great move if you plan on buying something that is over $1,000 so you would instantly receive up to $200 back. Lastly, it’s a great card to just stow away after you max out the grocery store and gas station rewards to anchor your credit history and make it rock solid for years to come.

Cons:

American Express isn’t accepted everywhere but it is most places

You have to earn at least $25 in cashback rewards to redeem

Requires good/excellent credit

Pros:

Great signup bonus for a very low minimum spend

No annual fee

Intro APR at 0% for 15 months on spending and balance transfers

“Is the card for you?”

This card offers decent cashback rewards for grocery and gas spending so if you have a long commute or maybe you side hustle as an Uber driver and are pumping money in at the tank you could clean up with this benefit! Also, with 0% APR, this is great for someone who has a big purchase coming up and would prefer not to pay it off right away. Additionally to this as well you’d get a free $150 if you break the $1,000 threshold with that purchase. I some new camera gear recently that was well over $1,000 I opened this card to save a quick $200.

Also, with no annual fee, it was a no brainer for the up to a free $200 back. I still use this card fairly often and when I do I can comfortably leave it at home knowing I’m not going to forget about an annual fee and be charged. But of course, there is ways to get out of those pesky annual fees.

Do I have this is in my wallet

Yes, I do. Good luck with your application if you choose to apply!

Good luck with building your credit!

PS

if you do apply I would appreciate it if you went through one of my links above, at no extra cost to you I will receive a small bonus from American Express and you’re able to go through them for any AMEX card application!
